Join us for a seminar for professionals and families planned and presented
by persons with early stage dementia. As diagnostic procedures become more
sophisticated and the public's awareness grows, more individuals are being
diagnosed earlier in the course of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
This seminar gives a rare but much needed perspective of those individuals with
early stage dementia. Their important messages are inspiring to anyone in the
fields of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, aging, and supporting families.
Their message - I'm still me - with kinks. There is a registration fee
and CEU credits are available.
A program co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association and the
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Cognitive Neurology and

A special five-part educational program to help family members of someone in
the early stages of memory loss has been developed by the Mather Institute on
Aging and The Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
