Neurobehavior and Memory Health Clinical Services

The practice specializes in Alzheimer's disease and all other forms of dementia, aphasia, memory disorders, neuropsychiatry of brain disorders, behavioral disorders of epilepsy, cognitive changes of aging, adult learning disabilities, adult attention deficit disorders and clinical trials of cognitive enhancers. Neuropsychological assessment is a specialty. Staff includes behavioral neurologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists and social workers. Clinical practice is interlinked with research extending from molecular biology of the dementias to functional imaging of cognition. The research activities occur within a center established through the US National Institutes of Health and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
