COVID-19 Precautions

Welcome!

We are excited to welcome you back to the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease. Your participation in our research is incredibly important and we are grateful for your continued commitment.

During this pandemic, our faculty, staff, fellows and students have displayed exemplary creativity and dedication. You can have confidence that we are adhering to all City, University and Hospital guidelines related to COVID-19. Your safety and health are our top priority.

Our academic headquarters on Tarry-8 and Neurobehavior Clinic on Arkes-13 are operating at levels that optimize distancing, personal protection, and thorough sanitizing. Testing spaces have been modified with plexiglass screens and testing procedures altered with safety in mind. Please know that we have implemented enhancing cleaning protocols and other measures to protect you during your research visit.

We encourage our research participants to reach out if they, or someone in their home, develops symptoms of COVID-19 prior to the research visit, and also to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days post visit, and inform us if symptoms occur. Thank you for your commitment to research at the Mesulam Center!
